Fennel, Orange, and Black Olive Salad

The fennel, orange, and black olive salad is a healthy, tasty, and tantalizing side dish. Fennel is especially suitable for those on a diet. It indeed contains water and few calories.   • 2 Fennel
  • 2 Oranges
  • 3.5 oz Black olives
  • 1 tbsp Capers

Preparation

  • Clean the fennel and remove the outer part with a knife on a cutting board. Use only the tender hearts. Use the outer part for other recipes or simply boil and dress with oil and cheese.

  • Then, arrange the thinly sliced fennel on a serving plate.

  • Peel the oranges. Cut the oranges in the same way. Preferably remove the white part.

  • Finally, arrange the sliced oranges on top of the fennel bed. Add the black olives, capers, a sprinkle of black pepper, a little salt, and finally drizzle extra virgin olive oil on top.
