Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/6 cup orange juice
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet baking powder
- orange zest (to taste)
- ground cinnamon (to taste)
- powdered sugar (to taste)
Tools
- Air Fryer
- Mixer
- Bowl
- Cutting Board
- Knife
- Citrus Juicer
- Lemon Zester
Steps
Place the eggs and sugar in a bowl and beat them with an electric mixer for at least 10 minutes, until they become light and frothy. Separately, squeeze the juice of an orange and add it to the bowl along with the oil, continuing to mix the batter with the mixer.
Next, add the flour, ground cinnamon, and the zest of an untreated orange. Finally, add the baking powder and continue to mix with the electric mixer or a hand whisk, until you get a smooth and lump-free batter.
Then transfer the batter to a 20 cm (about 8 inches) diameter cake pan lined with parchment paper on the bottom. Level the surface well and transfer the cake to the air fryer basket. Bake the cake at 320°F for 15 minutes and another 10 minutes at 356°F, checking the cooking with a toothpick before removing the cake.
Once the cake is cooked, remove it from the air fryer and let it cool. Then remove it from the pan, sprinkle it with powdered sugar, and serve.
