- 3 apples
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup oat milk

Steps for preparing apple bread
In a blender, place the apples after peeling, coring, and cutting them into chunks. Add the oat milk, extra virgin olive oil, sugar, and blend until smooth.
Add the sifted flour, baking powder, and blend again. Finish with lemon extract (or grated zest or vanilla extract) and a pinch of salt. Pour the mixture into a baking dish lined with parchment paper.
Sprinkle the top with slivered almonds and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 40 minutes, but be sure to use the toothpick test. Remove from the oven, let cool, and serve with a dusting of powdered sugar.
Storage
Store the cake under a glass dome for 3-4 days.
