Preparation of the apple cake with yogurt without fats
Remove the peel and core from the apples and slice them. Drizzle with lemon juice to prevent them from browning. In a bowl, break 3 eggs. Beat them with an electric whisk, adding the sugar until they are light and fluffy.
Fold in the sifted flour with the baking powder, the Greek yogurt with 2% fat, and mix with a hand whisk. Finish with lemon extract or grated lemon zest and a pinch of salt.
Add the apples and, after mixing, pour the mixture into a baking pan lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle with a tablespoon of granulated sugar. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 40 minutes. Let cool and serve.
Storage
You can store the cake under a glass dome for 3 to 4 days.
