Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 2.3 oz sugar
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2.5 oz all-purpose flour
- cup milk
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 apples
- 2 oz walnuts
- 1.8 oz white chocolate chips
Tools
- Bowl
- Hand Whisk
- Cake Pan springform 8 inches
- Parchment Paper
Steps
To prepare the apple and walnut cake, first break the eggs into a bowl, add the sugar and oil, and start mixing with a hand whisk until all the ingredients are well combined.
Then incorporate the flour, baking powder, and milk and continue mixing with the whisk to obtain a smooth, lump-free batter. Separately peel two apples, cut them in half, remove the core, and slice them very thinly.
Next, pour the apple slices and white chocolate chips into the batter and mix with a spoon or spatula until well combined. Line a 20 cm springform cake pan with parchment paper and pour in the batter. Level the surface well and sprinkle coarsely chopped walnut kernels.
Finally, bake the cake in a static oven at 350°F for 55 minutes, performing the toothpick test to check the baking before removing it. Once baked, let the cake cool in the oven with the door slightly open. Then remove it from the pan, and the apple and walnut cake is ready to be served.
