Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 2/3 cup shredded coconut
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 3.5 oz dark chocolate
- 1.75 oz milk chocolate
Tools
- 2 Bowls
- Spoon
- Baking pan
- Parchment paper
Steps
Put the Greek yogurt, coconut, and honey in a bowl and mix until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Then take some mixture and form the bars with your hands, about 1 inch long. Alternatively, you can pour the mixture into a 8 x 8 inch square pan lined with parchment paper. Press down well and then cut the bars with the help of a knife.
Then place the bars in the refrigerator and in the meantime melt the dark and milk chocolate in the microwave at medium power in several rounds, or in a double boiler. Subsequently, take the bars, dip them one by one in the melted chocolate and place them on a baking pan lined with parchment paper.
Sprinkle the surface with shredded coconut and place in the refrigerator until the chocolate has solidified.
Variations and Tips
The coconut bars can be stored in the refrigerator for two or three days. If you prefer, you can use only dark chocolate or only milk chocolate
