The white chocolate custard is an even creamier and velvety cream that I love, easy to prepare, perfect for decorating cakes, to be enjoyed with fruit, especially red fruits, to be flavored with lemon or vanilla, to be served spooned well cold with dry pastries, delicious and delicate. Prepare it in advance with good whole milk and serve it well cold for a different snack or to end the meal with an irresistible cream.

I prepare it the day before because resting in the fridge allows it to cool properly, take on the perfect consistency and the flavors blend perfectly. Let’s get to work and prepare the white chocolate custard together.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Milk
  • 3 Egg yolks
  • 1/3 cup Flour
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 5 oz White chocolate
  • 1 pinch Vanilla powder

Preparation

  • Heat the milk. Meanwhile, work the egg yolks with the sugar and vanilla. Add the flour and with a little of the total milk, mix it well with the yolks.

  • When the milk is hot, pour the egg mixture into it, and, always stirring, cook until the cream begins to thicken. At that point, remove the cream from the heat and add the white chocolate, stirring until it is completely melted.

  • Cover and chill in the fridge until ready to serve.
