Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp dry yeast
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsps sunflower seed oil
- as needed milk (for brushing)
Tools
- 1 Bowl
- 1 Spatula
- 1 Mold
- 1 Air Fryer
Steps
In a bowl, add the flour, yeast, salt, and sugar. Mix with a spatula or spoon.
Add the milk, egg, and oil. Start mixing with the spoon, then when it’s too difficult, continue kneading by hand until you get a smooth and homogeneous dough.
Place the dough inside a bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise for about an hour.
Divide the dough into three equal parts. Place everything inside a 15×20 silicone mold. Let it rise until doubled. This will take about 2 hours.
Once the rising time has passed, brush the surface of the brioche bread with a little milk and cook in the air fryer at 330℉ for about 20 minutes. Remember that cooking times are indicative and may vary slightly depending on the power and air fryer you use.
Once cooked, take the Brioche Bread out and let it cool or cool completely on a wire rack. At that point, slice and serve it, pure, sweet, or savory!
Storage
It keeps at room temperature, well wrapped in plastic wrap or paper bag, for 3-4 days. It can also be frozen once cooked.
