- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 pinch salt
- 3/4 cup brown sugar

Steps
Place the flour, sugar, and spices in a bowl and mix.
Add the honey and butter and knead.
Form a ball, cover with plastic wrap, and let rest in the fridge for 30 minutes.
Take the dough and roll it out with the rolling pin on a floured surface. Shape the cookies.
Bake the cookies at 350°F for about 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, prepare the icing by whipping the egg whites with the powdered sugar. It should be thick and not runny.
Once the cookies are cooled, transfer the icing into a piping bag and decorate the cookies. (I hope you’re more skilled than me)
Let them dry and enjoy with a nice cup of hot tea, perhaps in front of a warm fireplace.
