Sometimes you just don’t feel like cooking, or you have no ideas. Today it happened to me. Dead tired and zero desire to cook. In the fridge I had some tired vegetables and decided to make a savory pie. I used what I had at home. You do the same. If you want to try this recipe, you’ll need very few ingredients.
- Difficulty: Very easy
- Cost: Very cheap
- Preparation time: 10 Minutes
- Portions: 10 People
- Cooking methods: Oven, Microwave
- Cuisine: Italian
- Seasonality: Autumn, Winter
Ingredients
- 1/2 white onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 1/2 cups delica pumpkin
- 1 1/2 cups broccoli
- 1 1/2 cups red cabbage
- 1 1/2 cups green cabbage
- to taste salt
- to taste olive oil
- 1 pinch pepper
- 4 eggs
- 2 tablespoons grated cheese
- 1 roll round puff pastry
- 3/4 cup pizza mozzarella
Tools
- Pan
- Ladle
- Crisp Plate
Steps
Sauté the minced garlic and onion in a pan with plenty of oil for a few minutes.
Then add the vegetables, adjust the salt and cook for about 15 minutes. The vegetables should remain crunchy.
In a separate dish, beat the eggs with a pinch of salt, pepper, and 2 tablespoons of grated cheese.
Open the puff pastry roll on the crisp plate if you are baking the savory pie in the microwave, or on a baking sheet if baking in the oven.
Pour in the vegetables, beaten eggs, and mozzarella. Bake for 15 minutes on crisp mode in the microwave, or about 30 minutes at 392°F in the oven.
Good both hot and cold.
