AIR FRYER GRATINATED BRUSSELS SPROUTS – Crunchy Outside, Soft Inside!

If you think Brussels sprouts are not exactly irresistible, it’s because you haven’t tried them like this yet: gratinated in the air fryer! Crunchy on the outside, tender inside, and with that delicious crust that makes them truly irresistible. Perfect as an unusual side dish or for a light yet tasty main dish. Plus, no oven needed and cooking times are minimized!

Ingredients

  • 1.1 lbs Brussels sprouts
  • 1/2 onion
  • 7 oz smoked bacon
  • to taste oil and salt
  • 7 oz mozzarella for pizza
  • 0.85 cups béchamel

Steps

  • Remove the toughest outer leaves of the Brussels sprouts, cut them in half, and steam them for about 10 minutes.

  • In a pan, sauté the onion with the bacon.

  • Add the Brussels sprouts and then flavor them with the chopped onion and bacon for a few minutes.

  • Transfer them to a baking dish, add the shredded mozzarella, and the béchamel.

  • Cook in the air fryer for 6/7 minutes at 392°F
