Peach Flan in a Pan. Easy, Good, Fast.

Peach Flan in a Pan. It’s one of those impromptu preparations, ideal for a sudden dinner, for those cravings – I would eat something good – Very simple and tasty, excellent served with ice cream, breakfast, snack, in short, a multi-purpose dessert, like all pastry. But some preparations have long preparation times and not always is the time and desire present. It really takes very little, the time it takes to whip the egg whites. Meanwhile, everything else is prepared!

Also great with raspberries, cherries, and blueberries! And as I often say, try it to believe it. I also work and although I love cooking, I always put easy-to-manage recipes on the table, then on weekends, I organize myself for more elaborate preparations.

  • Difficulty: Easy
  • Cost: Cheap
  • Preparation time: 30 Minutes
  • Cooking methods: Stovetop
  • Cuisine: Italian
  • Seasonality: Spring, Summer

Ingredients

  • 3 peaches
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp butter

Tools

  • Pans
  • Electric Whisks
  • Bowls
  • Scales

Steps

  • First, peel the peaches; this step is not necessary if you use nectarines. Add 1/2 cup of sugar and caramelize in a pan. Finally, add the tablespoon of butter. Keep the stove on low heat.

  • Meanwhile, beat the three egg whites after separating them from the yolks, which you will beat with the remaining sugar.

  • Add the sifted flour with the baking powder and mix well.

  • At this point, fold in the beaten egg whites. Mix gently

  • Pour the mixture over the peaches.

  • Level it out and keeping the heat low, cover and cook for about 5 minutes.

  • Flip your peach flan onto a serving plate, optionally adding a little caramel.

  • Excellent as a dessert served with vanilla ice cream.

Some More Tips

A super quick and delicious dessert. Great with berries. In winter, you can replace fresh fruit with canned fruit.

You can also bake it in the oven, but it will take a few more minutes to cook, and the texture will not be the same.
