SALMON and AVOCADO SANDWICH BREAD STARS

SALMON and AVOCADO SANDWICH BREAD STARS, the perfect Christmas appetizer that is ready in 5 minutes, a delicious recipe that looks good and tastes even better.

The SALMON and AVOCADO SANDWICH BREAD STARS were born out of one of those times when you need a quick, beautiful, and tasty Christmas appetizer, ideally with a wow factor and no stress. In five minutes I transformed simple slices of sandwich bread into cute canapés: star-shaped cuts, a quick cream with avocado, lemon, and a pinch of salt, and salmon slices that always make a splash at Christmas parties.

It’s the classic delicious recipe that looks like it came from an elegant catering service but is so simple you can prepare it at the last minute while waiting for guests. Everyone loves the sandwich bread stars; they look great on appetizer boards, buffets, as an aperitif or as a super quick idea to bring to a friend’s dinner. And yes, they’re also perfect for using up that sandwich bread that’s always left in the drawer!

To make them even more festive, you can add a sprinkle of pink pepper, a drizzle of good olive oil, or some crunchy seeds. The salmon + avocado mix is creamy, fresh, always a winner, and if you want, you can change it up: guacamole, spreadable cheese, Greek yogurt or a ricotta mousse. In short, these stars are your party-saving solution when you want to make a good impression without complicating your life.
