PANDORO TARTS with diplomatic cream, easy and quick, a delicious recipe to use up leftover pandoro or panettone, a perfect idea for the holidays.
The PANDORO TARTS with diplomatic cream are my go-to dessert every year when pandoro is left over (which is always!). They are easy, quick, super cheap, and instantly become a show-stopping dessert perfect for Christmas festivities, especially when you need a tasty idea that looks like it took a lot of effort… but actually takes just 10 minutes.
The tarts turn out soft thanks to the pandoro base that “reinvents” itself in a completely new form, and the diplomatic cream makes them creamy, light, and irresistible. It’s an ideal recipe to recycle leftover pandoro or panettone, transforming them into small treats that look like they came out of a Christmas bakery.
In short: quick, tasty, clever dessert with that “wow” effect that always fits well on a holiday table.
Plus, you can decorate them however you like: with red fruits, pistachio crumbs, powdered sugar, or chocolate chips.

FAQ PANDORO TARTS with diplomatic cream
Can I use panettone instead of pandoro?
Of course! Panettone works perfectly too.
Can pandoro tarts be made in advance?
Certainly: prepare the bases and fill them at the last moment to keep them soft, and if you prefer, you can also bake them for 5 minutes to help them hold their shape better.
What cream can I use instead of diplomatic cream?
Custard, chantilly, mascarpone, and cream… everything works.
Can I freeze them?
Better not: diplomatic cream doesn’t like the freezer, but if you prepare them well in advance, it will be fine.
