Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp fresh yeast
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tbsp lard
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 pinch black pepper
- 1.75 oz bacon
- 1 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
Steps
Pour the flour into a bowl, add the crumbled yeast, lard or oil, water, and mix to dissolve the yeast.
Add the pepper, salt, parmesan, and bacon, knead well, form a ball and let it rest until doubled, about a couple of hours.
Once risen, take the dough and roll it out on a floured surface with a rolling pin to a height of about 1/8 to 1/6 inch.
Shape into a sort of rectangle and cut into squares of about 3/4 to 1 inch.
Place them on the baking tray lined with parchment paper, bake at 350-390°F for about ten minutes, until golden.
