Ingredients for the Creamy and Soft NUTELLA TART

  • 3.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 10.5 tbsps butter
  • 1 orange zest
  • 1 lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1.25 cups Nutella®
  • 2 oz dark chocolate

Steps

  • Pour the flour into the food processor and add the baking powder and sugar.

  • Add the citrus zest or a sachet of vanilla, add the butter in pieces and start the machine, add the first egg, then the second and work quickly.

  • Take the dough, set aside about 1/3 for the strips and roll it out, I used two pans, one 9 inches and one 8 inches, with a 9.5-10 inches pan you can make one large tart.

  • Arrange the dough in the pan, make a border of a couple of inches or larger if you prefer, but double the Nutella or your favorite hazelnut cream.

  • Add the dark chocolate cut into pieces.

  • Cut strips about 0.5 inches wide and place them on the tart.

  • Finally bake in the preheated oven at 350°F for about 25-30 minutes.

  • WITH THE BIMBY: Pour the citrus zest into the bowl, 10 sec at turbo speed.

  • Add the flour with the sugar, the baking powder, the butter in pieces and start the machine at speed 5, work for 1 minute, add the eggs and work for another 2 minutes just enough to get the mixed dough.
