Ingredients

  • 6 slices pandoro
  • 8.8 oz custard cream (orange-flavored)
  • 7 oz mascarpone

Steps

  • Prepare the orange custard cream following THIS recipe then combine the cream with the mascarpone, mixing the ingredients in a bowl and set aside.

  • Slice the pandoro horizontally, then cut the stars in half to get 6 slices.

  • Flatten the slices with a rolling pin, fill with the cream, and roll, remove the base, to get roses about 2 inches high. You can still serve the rolls on the same serving plate.

  • Add a sour cherry in the center and arrange the roses on the tray, decorate with rosemary sprigs and berries.

  • Refrigerate and before serving, dust with powdered sugar.
