Chocolate Cake Without Baking Powder

EASY AND QUICK CHOCOLATE CAKE WITHOUT BAKING POWDER, a melt-in-your-mouth dessert perfect after lunch or dinner, ready in a few minutes.

This chocolate cake without baking powder is amazing, it melts in your mouth, the typical dessert to enjoy after lunch with a cup of coffee, it’s a low but really rich dessert, its texture is similar to that of a caprese cake.

The recipe for the chocolate cake without baking powder is very simple, first melt the chocolate with butter in a double boiler or microwave, then combine the beaten eggs and the rest of the ingredients, each bite is pure magic.

Needless to say, it gets devoured, in my house it was gone in 5 minutes, I believe this is one of my favorite cakes for texture and taste and it can be enriched by adding nuts, teaspoons of Nutella, or pistachio paste.

Ingredients

  • 3.5 oz chocolate
  • 2 eggs
  • 0.9 oz unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 oz all-purpose flour
  • 3.2 oz butter
  • 2.5 oz sugar

Steps

  • Melt the chocolate with the butter in a double boiler.

  • Beat the eggs with the sugar using an electric mixer, add the cocoa and flour while continuing to mix.

  • Combine the melted chocolate and mix well, still using the mixer.

  • Pour the mixture into an 8-inch pan lined with parchment paper and then greased and floured.

  • Bake in a preheated oven at 356°F for 25-30 minutes, perform a toothpick test before removing from the oven; the cake should be moist, but the batter should be cooked when the toothpick is removed.

  • Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and take out of the mold, sprinkle with powdered sugar if you like.
