  • Add some of the sliced apples and pour everything into a greased and floured 9-inch round cake pan.

  • Cover with the remaining apples, bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 25 minutes, do a toothpick test, and if needed, extend the baking time by 5 minutes.
