Puff pastry croissants with tuna and mayonnaise

Ingredients

  • 1 puff pastry
  • 3.5 oz tuna
  • 2 tbsps mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2.5 oz smoked provola cheese

Steps

  • Remove the puff pastry from the fridge 10 minutes before using and place it on the work surface.

  • Cut a cross with the knife and then draw diagonals, 8 or 16 if you’re making small buffet croissants.

  • Drain the tuna in a bowl, add the mayonnaise and mix, then add the provola cheese cut into small pieces and mix.

  • Fill the base of the croissants with the filling and roll starting from the base, then curve the tips inward, brush with an egg, and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

  • Place the croissants on the baking tray or in the fryer and cook for about 15 minutes, in the air fryer cook at 356°F for 7 minutes, turn and cook another 3 minutes.
