- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 1/2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp oregano
- 25 breadsticks (salty sticks)
- 3 tbsp water
Steps
Prepare the shortcrust pastry, pour the flour into a bowl or mixer, add the butter, oregano, and start kneading, then gradually add the water.
You need to obtain a smooth and homogeneous dough, divide it into 20-25 pieces, and form imperfectly round, slightly oval discs, then cut them in half on the wider side.
Make cuts without reaching the edge, like a comb, place a breadstick at the beginning of the semicircle and roll it up, holding only the top part without touching the strips.
Press the top part a little to adhere it to the breadstick and place the brooms on the baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Brush with oil, bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 15 minutes.
