Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 1/2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup nuts
Steps
Pour the flour into a bowl, add the baking powder and 50 g (1/4 cup) of sugar, mix, then add a pinch of salt, the egg, and the butter, and quickly mix the ingredients.
Roll out the shortcrust on a floured work surface and make a rectangle of about 6-7 inches.
Chop the nuts with a knife or use a mixer to blend them, add the sugar, and fill the rectangle, keeping a couple of centimeters (about 1 inch) inside the edges.
Roll up the shortcrust and form it into a ring, place it on the baking sheet or a cake pan, bake in a hot oven at 350°F for about 20 minutes.
If the shortcrust should break, just close it with a piece of shortcrust.
