Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsps sugar
  • 2 tbsps extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp orange juice
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch vanilla

Steps

  • Pour the flour into a bowl, add the vanilla, baking powder, and sugar, and mix.

  • Add the oil and citrus juices and mix again, then divide the dough into 6 or 8 pieces, oil your hands and create small logs or mounds, they will be irregular but it doesn’t matter.

  • Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, bake and cook for about 15 minutes at 350°F, keep an eye on the oven.
