The recipe for the apple and chocolate cake is egg-free and milk-free, if you want you can use rice flour and margarine for those with intolerances and celiacs, a truly perfect dessert.

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 packet baking powder
- 5 tbsps butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 apple (or two)
- 2 tbsps chocolate chips
- 2 tbsps raisins
Steps
Soak the raisins in water or rum, as you prefer, then drain and pat dry when softened.
Cut one or two apples into small cubes in a bowl, add the sugar, chocolate chips, and raisins, and mix well.
Add the flour and baking powder, mix, and finally the softened butter.
Work with your hands to obtain a moist and crumbly mixture.
Line a baking pan of about 5 inches x 10 inches or a round pan of 8 inches with parchment paper and pour in part of the mixture.
Press a bit on the bottom to get a more compact layer to facilitate cutting, then pour the rest of the crumbs on top.
Bake in the preheated oven at 350°F for 25 minutes.
