How to Make the Tart with Fresh Plums
In the bowl of the stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, add the flour, sugar, baking powder, vanillin, and eggs. Start the mixer and work for a few minutes, then add the butter cut into pieces, and continue mixing to incorporate it.
Once everything is compact, transfer to the work surface and knead until you obtain a soft and compact dough. Form a smooth and soft dough ball, cover with plastic wrap, and let rest for 40 minutes in the refrigerator.
After the resting time, roll out the dough over a greased and floured 9-inch tart pan, prick the shortcrust pastry with a fork, then take the jam and spread it on the base, adding the plums too.
Cut the plums and remove the pits, then slice them.
Spread them over the jam, and add the almonds.
Bake your tart with fresh plums and almonds at 350°F for about 35 minutes
Storage of the Tart with Fresh Plums

FAQ
What to serve with plum tart?
If you decide to serve it as a dessert at the end of a meal, you can pair it with a slightly sparkling spumante or low-alcohol wines.
How to decorate the tart in an alternative way?
There are several variations: The first is to prepare two shells and close the tart with the second one, like a simple closed tart. For the second option, decide to decorate the tart without lattice and arrange plum slices next to each other in a radial pattern. Once the tart is baked, brush the surface with jam slightly softened in the microwave or with gelatin.
