- 3 1/2 oz white chocolate

Preparing the Spiderweb Muffins
1. Prepare the batter
Preheat the oven to 340°F (170°C). Melt the dark chocolate with butter and milk in the microwave (30-40 seconds) or using a double boiler, and let it cool.
In a bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, and sugar. In another bowl, beat the egg and sour cream. Combine everything with the flour mixture along with the melted chocolate and mix well.
2. Bake the muffins
Pour the batter into muffin liners, filling them 3/4 full. Bake at 340°F (170°C) for about 20 minutes. Let them cool completely.
3. Create the spiderweb
Melt the white chocolate and dark chocolate in two separate bowls. Using two parchment paper cones, decorate the muffins:
cover the surface with white chocolate, then draw concentric circles with the dark chocolate;
use a toothpick to drag the circles from the center outwards to create the spiderweb effect.
Alternate the colors for an even more striking result.
Storage and Tips
You can store the spiderweb muffins under a glass dome for 2 days.
Gluten-free variant: You can use gluten-free flour for a result suitable for everyone.
Freshness effect: Add the grated zest of an orange to the batter, it will give a perfect scent for Halloween.
