Frozen Chocolate Mini Cakes

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup mascarpone
  • 5 oz 60% dark chocolate
  • 3 1/3 tbsp milk
  • 3 1/3 tbsp heavy cream

Steps

  • Whip the cream with the mascarpone and set aside.

  • Melt the chocolate with the milk in a double boiler and let it cool, then set aside about 3-4 tablespoons to cover the cakes.

  • Add the chocolate to the cream and mix well, then pour the mixture into a hemisphere mold or paper cups, which you will later flip onto serving plates.

  • Place the mold in the freezer and let it cool for at least 30 minutes, then remove from the mold, cover with the chocolate you set aside, and decorate with hazelnut crumbs.

  • Put back in the freezer until ready to serve or you can serve them immediately.
