- Difficulty: Very easy
- Cost: Very cheap
- Preparation time: 15 Minutes
- Portions: 2 servings
- Cooking methods: Frying
- Cuisine: Italian
- Seasonality: Winter
Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 3 1/2 tbsp butter
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch vanillin
- 1 pinch salt
- lemon zest
- as needed Nutella®
Steps
Pour the flours into a bowl or mixer, add the baking powder, vanillin, grated lemon zest and mix, add the softened butter in pieces, the egg and the salt.
Knead well then form a rather large log and divide it into pieces of about 50 g (1.7 oz), flatten them and fill the center with a bit of Nutella.
Close and roll, it doesn’t matter if they open at some points because the Nutella doesn’t come out during cooking.
Fry as usual, I used the fryer but a deep pan works well too.
Dry on kitchen paper then dust with powdered sugar.
Bon appétit
