Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 eggs
- 3 1/2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp baking powder (optional)
- 1 packet vanillin
- 1 tbsp orange juice
Steps
Pour the flour into a bowl or in the food processor, add the baking powder, it is optional, they remain bubbly even without it, the vanillin and mix, add the salt, butter, orange juice and work the ingredients.
Take the dough and roll it out on the floured work surface very thinly with a rolling pin, but you can use a pasta machine for convenience if you prefer.
Cut many diamonds with a fluted wheel and fry them in hot oil, turning them over for a few minutes or with the air fryer.
Drain on kitchen paper then sprinkle with powdered sugar.
The trick to getting chiacchiere with lots of bubbles is in rolling out the dough, the thinner it is, the more bubbly they will be.
