- Difficulty: Very Easy
- Cost: Very Economical
- Preparation time: 10 Minutes
- Portions: 6-8
- Cooking methods: Oven
- Cuisine: Italian
Ingredients
- 1 wholemeal puff pastry (or regular, gluten-free, as you prefer)
- 5.3 oz ham (or speck, mortadella, salami)
- 5.3 oz provola cheese
Steps
Take the puff pastry out of the fridge 10 minutes before using it, then lay it on the work surface.
Fold it in half widthwise; for safety, place a bit of parchment paper in between to prevent sticking.
Draw a stocking; just look at the picture, it is very simple, then open the puff pastry in two.
Fill only half with the intended filling or whatever you have in the fridge and prefer, perfect even with spinach.
Close it by bringing the other half over, seal the edges, and make a sort of cuff on top; mark slanted lines and prick with a fork.
Decorate as you prefer; I used capers, pink pepper, and oregano. Bake and cook in a preheated oven at 392°F for 15 minutes.
Bon appétit
