Quick panettone ice cream cake

Ingredients

  • 1 panettone
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream, 35% fat
  • 1 cup custard
  • 5.3 oz chocolate
  • 1/4 cup milk

Steps

  • Prepare the custard HERE and let it cool.

  • Slice the panettone horizontally, my panettone is smaller, whip the cream and add the custard then mix well.

  • Fill the slices with the cream and close the cake with a cake ring and put in the freezer for about half an hour.

  • Melt the chocolate with the milk in a bain-marie, then take the cake from the freezer, remove the ring and cover with chocolate, decorate with red berries and return to the freezer for another 30 minutes, then move to the fridge until ready to serve.
