Ingredients

  • 2 slices panettone
  • 4.4 oz pastry cream
  • 1 cup whipping cream, 35% fat

Steps

  • Cut 2 slices of panettone widthwise and place one slice inside a star-shaped mold, press well and compact the dessert, if you don’t have a mold cut out a cardboard template and create the star on the template.

  • Place the template on the serving plate, prepare the pastry cream in advance, place it in a bowl, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate to cool.

  • Whip the cream with electric beaters then add the cream and mix well, fill with the cream then cover with the other slice of panettone cut into a star shape.

  • Of course, if you have leftover panettone just compact the pieces in the mold.

  • Place the mold in the refrigerator for an hour before serving, dust with powdered sugar and enrich with raisins or candied fruit.
