Simple and fast bread donuts with salmon and arugula, a perfect cold appetizer for the Christmas holidays, to prepare in 10 minutes with few ingredients.

Do you like my new idea of serving sandwiches on the holiday table? I love it, the bread donuts with salmon are perfect, beautiful, and delicious to eat.

Of course, you can fill them as you prefer, with ham, speck, various cheeses like ricotta or Philadelphia, or American cheese or cheddar.

A fun and different idea to serve appetizers, instead of the usual canapés, you can prepare tasty bread donuts that will surely please your guests, children included.

Sandwich bread rings with salmon quick appetizer

Ingredients

  • 4 slices sandwich bread
  • 2.1 oz smoked salmon
  • 2.8 oz mayonnaise (approximately)
  • to taste arugula

Steps

  • Cut the bread, without pressing it first with the rolling pin, with a glass and make a hole in the center with a plastic cap.

  • Spread with mayonnaise, then cut the smoked salmon into strips and place it on half of the donuts, add a little arugula and a sprinkle of pepper if you prefer.

  • Put mayonnaise on the other donuts too and pair them, decorate with pink peppercorns, I attached them with mayonnaise.

  • Arrange the canapés on the serving plate in the fridge until ready to serve.
