Baked Ham Shank with Potatoes

Preparing the baked ham shank with potatoes is one of those dishes that transforms a simple lunch into true comfort food, perfect for the holiday season.

In this recipe, I used the pre-cooked shank, ideal when you want to serve tender and flavorful meat without waiting for long hours of cooking. The parboiled potatoes ensure the perfect texture: golden on the outside, soft on the inside, able to absorb all the juices from the meat during baking.

The result is a rustic main course, genuine and full of flavor, perfect for Sunday or Christmas lunch, when the table is filled with the aromas and flavors of tradition.
