Butter and apple pastries.
I love the butter and apple pastries I get from the bakery: fragrant, golden, and with that buttery taste that melts in your mouth. Every time I see them on display, I can’t resist!
So, I decided to replicate them at home, with the same simplicity and all the fragrance of caramelized apples. And, as I always say, all you need is a roll of puff pastry to make something delicious: few ingredients, little time, and lots of satisfaction.
Now, with this easy and quick recipe, I can have them always available, freshly baked and fragrant. All you need is a roll of puff pastry, a little butter, brown sugar, and apples to create a treat that tastes homemade and comforting. Perfect for breakfast or a sweet, homemade snack.

Ingredients
- 1 roll puff pastry (rectangular)
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 apples
- 1 oz butter
- to taste powdered sugar
Tools
- Baking Sheets
- Knife
- Brush
- Parchment Paper
Steps
First, we peel the apples, cut them into small cubes and set them aside. We can add a little lemon juice to prevent them from browning.
Unroll the puff pastry and use the tip of a knife to cut out 16 equal rectangles. Then place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Using a brush, spread the melted butter on each rectangle, then sprinkle a little brown sugar to create a sweet and caramelized base.
Place a few pieces of apple on each rectangle, leaving a small border all around.
Sprinkle again with brown sugar on top of the apples to make them golden and caramelized in the oven.
Bake at 356°F (preheated oven) and bake for 20-25 minutes until the pastries are puffed and golden.
Our butter and apple pastries are ready. Let them cool slightly, then sprinkle them with powdered sugar.
Enjoy your snack.
