- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp instant yeast for savory preparations
- 1/2 cup water
- 2.1 oz cooked ham
- 3.5 oz smoked provola
Preparation
Pour the flour with the yeast into the mixer or a bowl, add the water and a pinch of salt, and knead well.
Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface with a rolling pin to a thickness of 1/8 inch and form a rectangle.
Fill with slices of ham and cheese then roll up and cut into swirls about 1 1/8 inches wide.
Place them on a baking sheet lined with paper, bake and cook in a hot oven at 392°F for about 20 minutes, remove from the oven and brush with a little oil.
