SOFT ALMOND DONUTS, easy breakfast or snack sweets to prepare, a family recipe with little butter, delicious idea.
Simple to prepare either by hand or with a robot, the soft almond donuts are perfect for breakfast or the snack of the whole family, they are enjoyable to eat.
The recipe for the soft almond donuts is very simple, I used baking powder but you can use yeast and let it rise, mix everything and let the dough rest before proceeding with the shaping.
Obviously if you don’t like almonds remove them or replace them with hazelnuts or pistachios, walnuts, the dried fruits you prefer the most.
For the recipe, I used a few grams of butter, if you want you can replace it with a tablespoon of oil.

Ingredients
- 1.6 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup almonds
- 1 1/2 tbsp butter
- 1/3 cup milk
Preparation
Dissolve the baking powder in the milk, add the flour a little at a time and mix with a spoon.
Add the sugar, a pinch of salt, the egg, and the butter then chop the almonds and add them to the dough.
Work well, the dough should not be sticky, if necessary add flour.
Make a ball and let it rest for 30 minutes.
After the time, take the dough and divide it into 6 pieces, form cylinders and close them into donuts.
Decorate with an almond if you prefer, place the donuts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and let rest for 10 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 355°F fan, bake and cook for about 15 minutes until golden.
