Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp instant yeast for savory dishes (or dry yeast)
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsps butter
- 2 tbsps lemon juice
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1/4 cup milk
Preparation
For the recipe you can use either instant yeast or dry yeast and let the dough rest for 1 hour.
Pour the flour with the yeast into the mixer and mix.
Add the sugar, grated lemon zest, butter, and egg, then knead.
Gradually add the milk, it should be firm so adjust if more is needed or not.
Take the dough and let it rest for an hour in case of dry yeast.
Divide the dough into 15-20 pieces, make small rolls and close into rings.
Heat the oil and fry the doughnuts, turning them over, then drain them on kitchen paper and sprinkle with granulated sugar.
