Ingredients
- 1.6 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1 tsp orange zest
- 1/3 cup milk
Preparation
Pour the flour into the mixer, add the butter in pieces, and mix.
Add the grated orange zest and egg, and mix again.
Combine the milk and orange juice, and mix again.
Take the dough and roll it out on a floured surface, form a rectangle with a side of 12 inches for the entire length of the dough, and cut into strips of 0.4 inches
Roll forming the pinwheels, heat the oil, and fry until golden.
Drain on kitchen paper and dust with powdered sugar.
