I love them, you can eat them with pleasure one after the other, the parmesan stars are a real delight, the perfect snack for an aperitif or as a party snack.
The recipe to prepare the parmesan stars is very simple, just fill the puff pastry and cut it out with a star-shaped cookie cutter, nothing simpler, obviously, you can enrich them with other types of cheese.

Ingredients
- 1 puff pastry
- 3 tablespoons Parmesan Reggiano DOP
- 2 teaspoons sesame seeds
- Half egg yolk
Preparation
Place the puff pastry on the work surface, grate the cheese with a large-hole grater and fill the pastry.
Fold it in half, press well, and cut out with a 2-inch star-shaped cookie cutter or as preferred.
Seal the edges with a fork or pinch the edges with your fingers and place the stars on the baking sheet lined with paper.
Brush with the egg yolk and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Bake in a preheated oven at 392°F for 10-15 minutes.
Remove from the oven and stick with wooden forks or sticks.
