Simple and delicious, the apple tart with cream and amaretti is a dessert to serve at breakfast or snack with tea; it is prepared quickly despite the shortcrust pastry resting time being quite fast.
The recipe for the apple tart with cream and amaretti is excellent, it melts in your mouth with simple pastry without yeast, the ideal dessert in autumn, maybe adding a pinch of cinnamon will enrich it even more.
If you don’t like amaretti, you can eliminate them, and for a quicker version, you can use apricot, peach, or blueberry jam instead of custard.

Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1/2 cup custard
- 1 cup apple
- 9 amaretti biscuits
Preparation
Prepare the shortcrust pastry, pour the flour with the sugar, a pinch of salt, the butter, and the egg in a mixer and blend everything; if necessary, add a little milk.
Take the mixture, work it a little on the surface, then wrap it in plastic wrap and put it in the fridge for 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, prepare the custard HERE, it doesn’t need to cool completely because it will be cooked again, but let it cool down slightly.
Take the dough from the fridge and divide it into two parts, place one half in a 8-inch pan, fill with the cream and sliced apple.
Add the amaretti in rows of three and close with the other half of the dough, seal the edges underneath and bake in a preheated ventilated oven at 355°F
Bake for 30 minutes; remove from the oven, let it cool a bit before slicing.
Bon appétit
