Of course, if you don’t prefer orange, you can remove it or replace it with lemon, if you want them even softer, just add a little yeast or baking ammonia.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg
  • 2.8 oz butter
  • 1.35 tbsp milk
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp orange zest

Preparation

  • Put the sugar and orange zest in a blender and blend.

  • Add the flour, chopped butter, and egg, blend everything, you will get a crumbly mixture, add the milk, and blend.

  • If the dough is too stiff, add a bit of milk, if too soft, add a bit of flour.

  • Pour the dough onto the work surface, work it a little with your hands then divide it into 10 pieces, form sticks, fold them in half, and twist them, then place them on the baking sheet lined with paper.

  • Bake in a preheated oven at 356°F (fan) for about 15 minutes.
