Ingredients

  • 1 roll puff pastry
  • 3 slices cooked ham
  • 2.5 oz scamorza cheese
  • 0.7 oz Parmesan cheese
  • to taste tomato sauce
  • to taste dried oregano
  • to taste egg

How to Make Puff Pastry Rustic Pie

  • Unroll the puff pastry on a baking tray, leaving it on the parchment paper it comes with.

  • Then fill half of the puff pastry with cooked ham, tomato sauce, cheese, and grated Parmesan.

  • Close the rustic pie by covering the filling with the other half of the pastry, then seal the edges well, and make cuts on the surface. Brush the surface with the beaten egg.

  • As a final step, bake the rustic pie in an oven at 375°F for about 15-20 minutes.
