Rosemary Bows Delicious Appetizers

ROSEMARY BOWS, delicious flaky appetizers, no yeast, economical recipe perfect for parties and buffets, great as an appetizer, idea for adults and children.

These rosemary bows are a delight, they are super tasty savory appetizers and flaky, easy to eat with pleasure, one leads to another, perfect for birthday parties.

Today I was in the mood for tasty appetizers, I found a leavened recipe in an old cookbook but I didn’t want to make a brioche dough so I thought of using instant yeast.

Of course, this way I significantly reduced the waiting hours for the preparation of rosemary and oregano bows that still, being flaky, need rest.

The rosemary bows are delicious, calorie-rich? yes, delicious? very! but if you’re looking for a party idea or appetizer you can also prepare them in advance and freeze.

Follow me in the kitchen today there are rosemary bows!

  • Refrigerate for 15 minutes, then take it out and flatten with a rolling pin to form a square and repeat the folds two more times without resting in the fridge.

  • After the 3 rounds of folds, place the dough in the fridge for 30 minutes.

  • After the time has passed, take the dough and roll it out to form a rectangle of about 8 x 20 inches, thus thinner.

  • Cut it in half along the shorter side, brush with egg white and pair the two sheets together making them adhere well.

  • Cut again in half lengthwise to have a strip about 4 inches wide.

  • Finally cut into rectangles about 1 inch wide, brush with egg white and join in threes.

  • Thus each little bow will be made up of 3 layers of pastry then twist it to form a bow.

  • Place them on the baking tray lined with parchment paper, brush with egg white and sprinkle with sesame seeds, bring the oven to 392°F (200°C) and then bake.
