Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 3/8 cup Water
  • 3 tbsps Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 Sausage
  • 2 Artichokes
  • 2.8 oz Provola Cheese

Preparation

  • Wash the artichokes and clean the inside by removing the fuzz.

  • Cut them into wedges and cook in a pan with a clove of garlic if you like, I don’t, oil, and water with the lid on.

  • Remove the casing from the sausages, crumble them, and cook them in a pan with the lid on.

  • Prepare the pastry, pour the flour into a bowl, add the oil and water, and knead well.

  • The pastry should be elastic, not sticky.

  • Roll out the pastry thinly, make a sort of pizza, and fill half with artichokes, crumbled sausage, and pieces of provola.

  • Bring the pastry over the filling and seal with a fork, make some holes, and place it on the oven tray covered with paper.

  • Bake and cook in a preheated oven at 350°F (ventilated) for about twenty minutes.
