Ingredients
- 2 Apples
- 1 cup Milk
- 2 Egg yolks
- 4 tablespoons Sugar
- 6 tablespoons All-purpose flour (or corn starch)
- 1/2 cup Mascarpone
- Lemon zest
Preparation
Prepare the cream, put the egg yolks in a pan with the sugar and beat with a whisk.
Heat the milk with the whole lemon zest and then pour it slowly over the yolks while always whisking.
Move to the stove over low heat and add the flour a little at a time, always stirring until it thickens.
Peel the apples and slice them not too thinly and place them in a bowl with a sprinkle of sugar and rum.
Combine the cream with the mascarpone and mix well.
Make a layer of cream in a baking dish, add a layer of apples and more cream until the ingredients are finished.
Sprinkle with granulated sugar, bake in the preheated oven at 350°F with fan and bake for 40 minutes.
