  • Place a pan with water on the stove and add the chestnuts, cook with the lid closed.

  • When the water boils, remove them from the pan and place them in a non-stick or holed pan if you prefer.

  • Cook for a few minutes over high heat then cover with a lid and cook, shaking the pan from time to time.

  • They will be cooked when the outer part is charred.

  • At this point, remove the lid, let them cook over high heat for a few minutes and remove them.

  • Place them in a cloth and close it, let them rest for about twenty minutes.
