The queen cake with apples is a revisiting of the old Bertolini cookbook cake, remember Mariarosa? Well, I added apples to the slightly modified base recipe and created a soft and fragrant dessert.
The recipe for the queen apple cake is really very simple, a butter cake with the addition of fresh fruit, of course, if you like it, otherwise leave it out.
The ideal dessert for the whole family’s breakfast or snack, it takes 10 minutes to prepare and is very soft, it melts in your mouth.

Ingredients
- 3 Eggs
- 1 2/3 cups All-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup Sugar
- 2/3 cup Butter
- 1 packet Baking powder
- 3.4 oz Milk
- 1 packet Vanillin
- 1 Apple
Preparation
The cake in the picture is 8 inches
Beat the egg yolks with the sugar until they are frothy.
Add the softened butter cut into pieces, the flour with the vanillin and the sifted baking powder and mix.
Peel the apples and cut them into pieces, add them to the batter, add the milk and mix.
Whisk the egg whites until stiff and gently fold them into the mixture from bottom to top.
Butter and flour a 9-inch springform pan and pour in the mixture.
Bake in the preheated oven at 356°F and bake for about 30 minutes, always do the toothpick test before removing.
