I know…I know you can’t stand hearing the word Dubai associated with any dessert but bear with me for one last recipe… or maybe the second-to-last, I don’t know yet. The problem is that the combination of these ingredients is something I like, or rather my family likes a lot. The angel hair with pistachio, which I love anyway, already makes it super delicious, so I thought of making another attempt by making tiramisu. I assure you that the result is fantastic also because I didn’t overdo it with the chocolate. As you can see in the picture, I only used a little dark chocolate for decoration, otherwise, I think it would be slightly cloying. But let’s see together how to prepare this Dubai tiramisu in the following recipe.
- Difficulty: Easy
- Cost: Medium
- Rest time: 2 Hours
- Preparation time: 15 Minutes
- Portions: 12
- Cooking methods: No cooking
- Cuisine: Italian
- Seasonality: All seasons
Ingredients
- 18 oz mascarpone
- 14 oz ladyfingers
- 7 oz pistachio cream (of good quality)
- 7 fl oz coffee
- 1.8 oz cooked angel hair
- 2.5 oz 55% dark chocolate
- 1 oz chopped pistachios
Steps
Start preparing your Dubai tiramisu by making the cream: pour the mascarpone into a bowl and add about 3.5 oz of pistachio and whip everything, then add more pistachio cream until you have the desired taste, but be sure not to use it all because you will need it for the decoration as well. I didn’t use additional sugar, but I bought a 40% pistachio cream which is very tasty; if yours isn’t, feel free to use sugar but adjust according to your taste for the quantity. Now crumble the angel hair into the pistachio and mascarpone cream and mix well. If you want, you can set aside some angel hair for the final decoration.
Now move on to composing your Dubai tiramisu: dip the ladyfingers in the coffee and place them in a baking dish one next to the other, pour half of the pistachio and mascarpone cream and continue with the second layer and repeat the process. Once done, melt the dark chocolate and proceed with the final decoration which can be customized as you like. As you can see below, I made lines of chocolate, pistachio cream, and chopped pistachios.
Then let your Dubai tiramisu rest in the fridge for at least a couple of hours and serve by cutting it into squares like the classic tiramisu. And if you try it, let me know if you liked it 😉

A variation of the topping could be a thin layer of dark chocolate, but I recommend using chocolate with at least 50% cocoa.
