Valentine’s Day is approaching, so here’s a very simple yet delicious recipe for you: raspberry crepes with fruit powder, in this case, raspberry powder. Fruit powders are now used in many recipes, so I thought, why not make some delicious crepes, and here they are, let’s see how to prepare them in the following recipe.
- Difficulty: Very easy
- Cost: Medium
- Preparation time: 20 Minutes
- Portions: 12
- Cooking methods: Frying
- Cuisine: Italian
- Seasonality: Mother's Day, Valentine's Day
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 3.2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons raspberry powder
- 2 cups milk
- as needed butter (for cooking)
- 2 tablespoons sweetener (or sugar to taste)
Tools
- 1 crepe pan
- 1 bowl
- 1 Electric whisk
Steps
The preparation of raspberry crepes is really simple. Start by whisking the eggs with the sweetener or sugar if preferred. Separately, mix the raspberry powder with the flour and pour it in alternately with the milk, continuing to whisk. Once you’ve used all the ingredients, you’ll obtain a very liquid mixture.
Heat the crepe pan and add a teaspoon of butter, brushing it with a kitchen brush. Pour a ladle of batter, spreading it with the concave part of the ladle so that it is even over the entire surface of the pan. Let it cook for a couple of minutes; when there’s no more liquid part, flip the crepe and let it cook for a couple of minutes on the other side. Once you’ve finished all the batter, you can serve your raspberry crepes hot. With this amount, you’ll get about 9-10 crepes of 9.5 inches. Enjoy.

Saby recommends…
There are many types of fruit powder available on the market. For this recipe, the 2 teaspoons of powder were enough to achieve the desired flavor and color. I recommend starting with one teaspoon and then increasing the amount based on your raspberry powder.
